China Camp offers several epic trails: Shoreline Trail is easy, Bay View Trail has climbs and switchbacks, and Oak Ridge Trail is a fun, winding singletrack. Diverse riding for all levels.

Hi, I'm Coach Finn Sumrall

I’ve been stoked on mountain biking since 5th grade, and since then it’s been all bikes, all the time.

To share my love of biking with younger teens, I launched ROOST MTB Camp in 2024.

A bit about me...

  • Raced mountain bikes for 5 years with NICA on North Marin Composite

  • Race for Mike’s Bikes road cycling development team

  • I ride regularly on all the trails we explore at camp

When I’m not riding...

  • Sales team and mechanic at Mike’s Bikes in San Rafael

  • Intern at Access4Bikes for 4 years

  • Designed my own enduro mountain bike

  • Class of 2025 Graduate from Credo High, a college prep Waldorf school in Rohnert Park

  • Headed to UC Santa Barbara to study mechanical engineering—combining my passion for bikes and science
